William H. Platt II is a graduate of Emmaus High School, La Salle University (B.A. Philosophy/English) and the Dickinson School of Law.
Bill has represented private and public companies and individuals in proceedings before both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitrations.
His practice has included contract disputes, business torts, and landlord/tenantdisputes, business torts, landlord/tenant disputes, securities actions, civil RICO actions, unfair competition and professional malpractice liability claims.
After graduating from law school, Bill was employed by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as a law clerk to the Honorable Chief Judge Edward N. Cahn, the Honorable Robert F. Kelly and the Honorable Ronald L. Buckwalter.
After completing his clerkship with Judge Buckwalter and prior to opening the Platt Law Firm, Bill practiced in the litigation department of Blank Rome LLP in Philadelphia, PA and opened the Lehigh Valley office for Flamm Boroff & Bacine PC.
In 2005, 2007 and 2008, Bill was named a Pennsylvania Rising Star-Super Lawyer by Law & Politics Media in Philadelphia Magazine. Pennsylvania Rising Stars is a list of the best attorneys who are either 40 or under or who have been practicing 10 or fewer years.
Bill is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Lehigh County Bar Associations.
